Korean BL is a growing genre and there are some decent Youtube channels I've seen that have BL media, although there's definitely a lot of room for improvement in terms of acting, writing, directing, and editing. Does anyone else know of any good Korean gay-themed movies, shows, etc.?

My most recent find is a channel called Strongberry (link). They have some very cute videos, like the following:

Strongberry has produced some great short films. I really liked 'Step For You' Korean Gay Film '스텝포유/Step for You' Trailer

Other titles worth watching are: Table Manner, Where Your Eyes Linger, Mr.Heart, Long Time No See, To My Star, Wish You.

Thank you for the recommendations. I tried to watch Wish You, but I personally found it too cringy. Same with Color Rush. :(

I really want to watch To My Star though, since I'm obsessed with Son Woohyun!

Oh I'll definitely be watching this thread. It is good to know Korea is starting to slowly rollout bl themed series, "Light on Me" is the best fleshed out Korean bl series I've seen so far. I am excited for what is to come. Also, not Korean but Singapore also started to bring its first production of a bl series that is also something to look forward to!

Color Rush is quirky and won't appeal to everyone, but if you want to read an academic making a great case for the series, here ya go: https://absolutebl.tumblr.com%2Fpost%2F653121264477683712
I personally LOVE Color Rush, it's my fave of the korean BLs, but it's a very hard show to sell to other people. I think Light on Me and To My Star are the most overall approachable ones, specially for people that like/have watched kdramas.

I just finished Light on Me this morning. Typical high Korean production values, a bit slow but not as slow as most other Korean series, and really wise.

Color Rush is only about 2 hours. If it's re-cut as a movie and shown in theaters, I'd definitely be quick to buy a ticket. I think it'd be a good big screen movie.

Yeah, I've been binging a bunch of KBL Dramas, and Color Rush (Season 1) was the worst one I've watched so far. Pretty crap chemistry between the two leads, which is a shame because the actual concept of the show is really interesting.

My favorites have been Semantic Errors, Blueming, and Cherry Blossoms After Winter. To My Star and You Make Me Dance were also very good!

You guys should start watching Roommates of Poongduck 304. Everything about it is so good. The acting, story, pacing, romance, comedy are all on point. I wonder why I didn't get the hype it needed when it was released.
