Clegg:
* believes in an amnesty for illegal immigrants
* is viewed by the security services as a potential security risk
* is rampantly pro EU
* is an atheist
* is an obnoxious holier than thou prat
The obvious response is to say, so does he have any bad points?

An amnesty is right, Theyre here already. The thing is is to stop more coming, not deny the existence of those already here. Apparently its also lab and con policy too (though they didnt admit that)

The security services who said Iraq had WMD? (mind you, someone referred to the recent bomb in the US as a WMD, so on that basis they had lots of WMD, but that is just another example of gross exaggeration). If invading Iraq= boosting our security, give me the alternative.

Great. the EU is the future and the only check we have on insane westminster governments.

great, Does not hold delusions we will be saved from our folly by God.

Is a politician? Which of the choices isnt? The most honest is probably Brown when hes allowed to be. You dont like him because of the three the libs dare most to be different?

And for once to post in the strictly relevant thread, Consider Brighton, described by my cousin as the gay capital of britain.

Green 32%
Labour 30%
conservative 23%
liberal 14%

There is a tendency in all uk elections for those who won last time get the votes of everyone whoever they really support. This race had a wide spread of support last time and everyone fancied their chances. Obviously skewed because the town has had a reputation for debauchery since 1900, but an interesting perspective on how the country might really vote if it had an open race where everyone had a chance.
