Seems like people come into this thread to argue and try to convince that gays shouldn’t support Trump. Most of these “anti-LGBT” policies do not actually affect gay men at all but trans people. (Which is why a lot of Lesbians, bisexuals, and gays are wanting to be separate from trans, like myself.) Trump has the first gay man ever working on the cabinet level in his cabinet. Richard Grenell said Trump himself didn’t care or even inquire about him being gay, which is the right attitude to have, because being gay isn’t anything special. Trump treats gays as normals, and this is why people are moving away from the democrat party because we don’t want to be treated special or privileged for liking the same sex. The whole anti-trans thing is a whole different subject, which only affects trans people, whether you concern yourself to care about that is only on you.
Now this thread is for gays for Trump — not come in here and argue with us or post articles with extreme headlines saying gays are going back to their closets because trans aren’t allowed in the military. Wake up.

Agreed. Sadly, many people just define their entire personality and lives around the fact that they’re attracted to the same sex. Its really embarrassing. “You’re gay? Great” No one cares anymore. Those that came before us and fought for us to be where we are now are the ones that should get special remembrances. Sadly, Pride is nothing but a sexfest nowadays, and another excuse of drunken debauchery. Two steps forward, ten steps back.

I don't understand the mentality that it's okay to vote and support Trump because he thinks gay people are sort of okay and will only go after Trans people. How can you be okay with someone going after a group of people and being okay with it because it's not you being targeted. What a horrible mind set to have. Pride is gross. It’s not even about being gay anymore, lol. Hoeing out is not a celebration and sex is nothing to celebrate lmao. It saddens me of these pictures of kids at pride around fetish stuff. Those parents should be solicited for something for having their kids exposed to that. I wouldn’t want my children near it.

being gay shouldn’t be treated as anything unique. Though, my heart aches for the people who can’t come out due to not being in an accepting environment. :/

Trans rights are no different to gay rights. Trans people just want to be accepted as well. Having gender dysphoria does not change the fact that they just want to have the right to live, love and be merry like everyone else. How someone from the same community can have such contempt for their fellow man is beyond me. You wouldn't like to be treated in a horrid manner and yet you think it's perfectly acceptable to treat others in that manner. Trump's policies don't align with anything a gay person would benefit from other than being white and hateful as he is. You highlighting transphobia, racism and generally being a bigot when no one has mentioned it on this thread is given great insight into the type of mindset that you hold. So it's not a shocker that you support an individual like Trump.

Human rights are human rights. A threat to anyone's rights threatens everyone. You say you were for people who cannot come out because they are not in an accepting enviornment. WHy? You're the reason the environment isn't accepting.

I am a gay that supports trump but I dont tell anyone. All of my friends think im democrat bc they are. I actually changed my political party to republican secretly a few years ago. We all go out and bash trump when secretly im a republican and support what he's doing with the country.
