I don't have to ask - you put your views right out for all to see - that's what message boards do. No one here really 'knows' anyone unless they are in the flesh acquaintances. It is to debate and exchange idea about everything - politics to big dicks. If you want to explain your feelings, about anything, I'll be happy to listen. I can only react to what is shared. Some people do not want to share more than what they post - makes a certain sense. I've seen people shredded after revealing personal experiences here, so I more than understand people having comfort levels about what they post and choose to reveal.

What we write here allows others to make assumptions. Sometimes we assume right, sometimes not. Like you, I can only react to what is on the screen. You're welcome to point out whenever you disagree with what I've written or feel I meant. I'm free to tell you what I meant. I have no problem with that. Why do you?

I did not use the term 'cracker' with the intent of a racist slur, it was casting aspersions on the logic racists and major elements of so called 'conservative' actions, both as I see them here and in the world.

You assumed I was a person of color, which I don't mind at all, but in my opinion how you expressed it was telling. They were your words, not mine.

I assume nothing about you. My opinions and allegiance is not to one the party or person, rather the protection of the process and system. Countless times I written, want change then put it on the ballot. The rest here is just finger pointing blather.

You're a double english major therefore most likely have vocabulary greater than others- your use of cracker was and is a racist slur otherwise you would have selected different words. In my opinion you have little knowledge of conservatives in the U.S. which is fine as this country is thankfully and will hopefully remain mainly centrist.

The tax cuts and the deficit are gifts from Trump. He cut taxes when the economy was strong, when we should have been re-paying old debt. Now when trouble comes the hole gets deeper. History is Republicans have been the tax and spend party since the 1980 election.

After rolling back transgender protections, the Trump campaign is courting the L.G.B.T.Q. vote.

The month of June was filled with big moments for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. President Trump was almost entirely silent through it all.

There was no tweet in honor of Pride Month, despite several aides’ suggestions to Mr. Trump that he write one. No rollout of a coalition aimed at L.G.B.T.Q. voters by his campaign, despite preparations that had been made for one. Embassies overseas were told they couldn’t fly the Pride flag.

There was, however, a rollback by the Trump administration of an Obama-era regulation mandating health care as a civil right for transgender patients under the Affordable Care Act.

It is what many in the L.G.B.T.Q. coalition have come to expect from Mr. Trump, who during his 2016 presidential campaign used gay people as a wedge against Muslims, whom he painted broadly as extremists, after the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando by a Muslim man. While Mr. Trump has signaled a willingness to publicly align himself with some gay men and women, he selected a deeply conservative running mate in Vice President Mike Pence, and as president, he has systematically dismantled protections put in place by President Barack Obama, especially for transgender people.

Just over two months before Election Day, Mr. Trump is trailing in almost every poll to Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic nominee, whom activists credit with pushing Mr. Obama to support gay marriage. And Mr. Trump’s advisers are suddenly talking about L.G.B.T.Q. people as they scramble to find new voter support.

Last weekend, the campaign announced the L.G.B.T.Q. coalition that had been expected in June, blaming the delay on the coronavirus.

Yes ignore that the Trump administration was pushing the DOJ to make sure LGBT were not protected from discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. And lets ignore that they vowed when they LOST the vote in the Supreme Court that they would look for the next Justice appointments to not be "traitors". They were so pissed that they lost the vote trying to deny workplace discrimination for LGBT workers they threatened to get someone so extreme they will not vote against the next attacks.

But, thats supposed to be appealing to an LGBT voter? Talk about voting for your own destruction as a LGBT person. They flat out told you if you allow it they will keep stacking courts until they get their hateful policies passed one after another.

Not just trump the GOP in general. It is mindboggling. They flat out state in their platform they cant stand you. And if it was in their power you wouldn't be able to be openly gay, or get married.

Giving anyone power over your life that could vote for their anti LGBT platform and their history of attacks against your right to even be who you are is insane.

Truth. Any LGBT supporters of Trump are literally insane. Actively voting for and supporting people who hate you and do everything possible to erase you, make your life more difficult, treat you as lesser - it's an act of sheer self-hatred and destruction. This type of person has severe mental health issues and there is no other explanation for it. Roaches for Raid is very apt.

They're hoping LGBT people will be as self-defeating and as clueless as Trumpsters. But Trumpsters are a special brand of stupid and bigotry. It won't be easy to duplicate that.
