So this original thread http://www.lpsg.org/underwear-clothing-and-appearance-issues/60876-bear-otter-cub-etc.html got me thinking about gay labels, and how much I don't know about slang and regional differences. So instead of looking up a book or searching a slang-site, I'm going to ask the brilliant denizens of this site to help me out with their collective intelligence. What animal based terminology can you add to this list?

Bears: general catch all phrase for a mature beefy furry man
Cub: younger furry man, a bear in training
Musclebear: bear with muscles; a furry gymbunny
Polarbear: bear with white fur, sounds more flattering than Grannybear
Gingerbear: bear with red/auburn fur
Blackbear: African American bear
Pandabear: the hard to find, rare Asian bear. Not to be confused with the
Pradabear: bear who is a fashionable label whore
Leatherbear: bear into S&M
Daddybear: bear who is also a daddy
Princessbear: the pretty bears that are too good to talk to anyone not as hot as themselves, also a high maintenance bear
Otter: furry man with a swimmer's build possibly with lovehandles or small gut
Wolf: furry man with a lean and cut runner's build
Puppy: a cute younger man
Silverfox: an attractive older man with mostly silver hair
Chickenhawk: a mature man only sexually interested in (much) younger prey
Cougar: a mature woman only sexually interested in (much) younger prey
Chicken: younger prey
Gymbunny: a man spending more than four hours a week at the gym; usually built like a brickhouse, < 8&#37; bodyfat, has a penchant for jocks and plucking
Guppy: Gay Urban Professional
Fagstag: straight man that hangs around gay men
Fruitfly: AKA Faghag: straight woman that hangs around gay men
Beaver: AKA Pussy: AKA Fish: AKA Fruitfly: a female

yes, I think faghag would also apply to you... there might be a specific term for a dyke that hangs out with gays but I'm not sure. I'm pretty positive there is a term for a gay man that hangs out with lesbians but I can't remember it. *sigh* I'm pretty cut off from dyke culture so can't comment. One thing I do remember is that a babydyke is a young lesbian in training sorta like a cub... except with a vagina.

Kitten - A young gay "boi" that tends to have sudden moodswings from cranky to giddy and back. Kittens are often high maintenance and can also be referred to as Divas and Princesses/Princes.
