Do you think straight men of your generation have different views on homosexuality than those older and younger than yours?

In what ways are they different?

I think men of my generation are much more societally accepting/embracing of homosexuality than in yrs past, however I think that has come with the consequence of today's average man having to define/act out their "straight-ness" in order to not have homoerotic proximity mitigate their sexual access to and sexual desirability from today's women; whom are ideologically and socially aligned with male homosexuality, but sexually very homophobic.

Honestly, I don't know if it's more a generational thing or more about how your social circle viewed homosexuality. I grew up with family friends who were in openly gay relationships and when I was old enough, I was told that it was no one business to say who could love who. So ever since I could remember, I never had an issue with homosexuality.

I will say upfront that I am glad my son and daughter are straight and in excellent marriages. That being said, I would love them equally if they were not. I have no problem whatsoever with homosexuality and do not think for even a second that they are wrong, bad or confused. I certainly don't push my "straightness" on anyone but prefer that others not try pushing their lifestyle on me. I just wish we as humans could just learn to accept each other and get along.
