Dude, that is how they do it in the surveys. Why measure at all if not to compare with the measured average, which is done bpel? I see no reason at all, everyone who don`t know measure differently anyways, so what people say don`t matter.

There are two types of measurement, neither being wrong. It's true, someone who's very thin, such as yourself, would gain virtually nothing from bone-pressing. That said, a heavy guy like myself gains a half an inch, and if I pushed to the point of pain, I'd gain about a full inch. It's an equalizer. Kind of like when I'm having sex and going as deep as I can, that fat pad is being compressed.

Nice work, nice cock. Of course, one gets a more flattering measurement with a tape than with a ruler. I remember some years ago on this site somebody started a thread soliciting photos showing 8 inches measured with a ruler without pressing ("Ruler pics - can anyone show 8 inches?"). I sort of agree. I wouldn't say a tape measure provides a more flattering measurement as i feel as though 'flattering' implies distorted or somehow less authentic results. If anything i feel accuracy is actually improved as it follows the contours of one's meat. I almost feel that there is such variations in erection quality and measurement techniques that a standard way of measuring to obtain extremely precise results will never be fully adopted.
The purpose of my post was really just through frustration. The number of claims lacking sufficient evidence to prove that they are indeed at least half an inch close to what they say is rather wearing.

I see no reason to measure your dick at all if not to compare with the average.
