It's probably just my American jingoism, but I think soldier in those floppy beret-style hats look plain silly. Takes away all the hotness if they're naked but for those.

The U.S. Army eliminated the beret as standard headgear all the way back in...June of this year.
Seriously? I always associated them with European or possibly Canadian troops. Are you sure about this?
