I had a buddy that was in the Old Guard. He had joined the army to be a bad ass infantry soldier, but he was so fit and pretty that he got scooped up for Old Guard pretty quick. He hated it. He ended up compensating by getting most of his body tattooed, from neck to wrist to ankle.
