When Phantom opened, I went to see it Christmas Day at the Los Feliz Theater in the Hollywood CA area. The place was packed with gay guys, and when Gerard Butler came on the screen the cheering was deafening...from what I heard, I definitely got they were cheering on a personal friend. So, the interview is no surprise.
