awellhungboi: Yeah, I don't know that much about webdesign etc. either, but I'm sure somebody on this board must! I had a blog for a while but I pretty much just cut and pasted all the code into a template. When I was going on cam a lot I toyed with the idea of going to ifriends or some site like that, where you can charge people and the site pretty much does all the work. I decided against it for a variety of reasons, but it might be a possible avenue for you, at least for the time being.

When I was doing my blog I found so many annoying, flashy, cheesy, completely pointless javascript and HTML effects. (And, okay, I admit, I used a couple of them! :-[ ) In web design less is definitely more. No flashing fonts and scrolling marquees for this boi!
I've also noticed that most 'free' webpages that come with 'build your own webpage' templates like with Mindspring or other ISPs are usually very yucky, homogenized affairs. Best to learn a little code and DIY. There's a lot of free HTML tutorials on the web that helped me with the very basic basics. I mean I thought HTML was the newest Boy Band!
