I'm presuming you're meaning the desert island type book, the book you'd take to a desert island if you could only take one, this would mean I wouldn't take the book I enjoyed reading most, I'd take the book that I felt would afford me most to think about, it'd be The Bible despite me not believing in God.

Not exactly look up to but I admire the way JustAsking posts, he always has something interesting to say, has a knack of looking at things in a slightly unusual but logical way and has a nice line in prose.

4. If you could choose any career, what would you do?

Archeologist.

Black if it's for clothes

I like lots of things, a couple of my favourite meals are kofte with cous cous, humus and salad, this gorgeous biriani my friend makes, tad pai, beef rendang, that's all I can think of off the top of my head, if I were hungry I'd be able to think of more.

Summer, I've never liked the cold.

10. Who was your role model when you were growing up?

I didn't really have one although I read a lot of mythology and maybe my childhood stroppiness was influenced by Isis, Arianrhod, Hera, etc

I can't pick just one, and I like different books for different reasons. The Cider House Rules by John Irving is one that I've read a ton of times and love, as is A Prayer for Owen Meany. An Unquiet Mind by Kay Redfield Jamison.

all the oldies but goodies and regulars, for the most part.

Hard to say - there are an awful lot of people here who are very interesting to read and interact with - off the top of my head I rarely skip over the posts of jason_els, snoozan, JustAsking, alex8 - I have a lot of love for biguy2738 and Osiris for their big hearts - and Chicagosam. The person who means the most to me isn't on that list, but we're friends elsewhere now so I don't think of him in that context.
