I got an iHome speaker thingy for my iPod so I can listen to it in the house and even when out and about-- it works with batteries too.

My mother in law got us a cut-crystal vase from the Czech Republic when she was there.

We got some cash and gift cards from my family.

The best gift I'll get tomorrow. I've been sleeping on a sofa in the sitting area of my bedroom for about two years because I can't sleep in my bed for various reasons (mainly, snoring husband). Tomorrow the old man is taking me out and buying me this really cute daybed from Ikea that matches our big bed. I get to pick out a mattress, linens, pillows, everything. I'm so incredibly excited. It solves the problem of me needing to sleep in some sort of bed while still being able to look somewhat sofa-like.

The baby, however, hit the jackpot:

Bath and Body Works Warm Sugar Vanilla Lotion and Japanese Cherry Blossom Lotion.

If I liked lotion, I would use those. They smell soooooooo good. Bath and Body works has gotten a lot better with their scents lately.

i'm buying myself an iPod after seeing a 7-year old walking around with one today after Christmas dinner with friends.

Get one, I held out for awhile but I really really love having one. Mine is just one of the little nanos but it does the job. I have a car receiver thingy and now a portable boombox type thingy for it, so I can take it anywhere. So much better than CDs. I'm also addicted to the iTunes store... I don't mind paying a dollar for a song that I know won't be corrupted or crappy quality, and it's legal.

That's what everyone else tells me. I never feel pressured to keep up with the Jones' but watching a seven year-old walk around with an iPod made me think "OK. It's time."
