I don't know what people see in him as far as comedy; he's like something's consistently pulling on his nuts while he's on either a high caffiene overload or uppers.

I don't think he's the least bit funny. Anoying, yes! On the recent posts about comedians, Gottfried was the name I couldn't remember exactly.

I agree Videophile. Listening to Gottfried is (as nudeyorker notes) like fingernails on the blackboard. He's abrasive, unfunny, and should get job selling shoes at the local Mall.

I can't stand Gottfried and wonder if it was drugs and that's true origin of his name, Got(t)-Fried. If I see his image move onto the television screen I hit mute and then change the channel, his voice is worse than razor wire cutting into the bottom of the feet. Humor?-perhaps if you are in a subterranean netherworld where steel wool is used as toilet tissue.
