girth differences

Recently, I noticed something different about my girth. When I look at my penis the width <-> of my penis is noticably wider than the depth of my penis. So my penis looks wide but is thin. and the top of my shaft is quite flat while the underside has that skinny vein going up the underside. Has anyone else noticed this?
By the way, this is only when im hard. When im soft the width and depth are the same.
