This has probably been covered many times before, and in digging through old posts before I started this thread, I saw it hinted at in a few places but never asked in concatenated version. In any case, I appreciate your forbearance if this is redundant.

I am longer than average, and unusually thick. Go figure - this is LPSG. As most of the men here probably experience, that limits the sexual positions that my wife and I can enjoy without it hurting her. Unfortunately it also means that she has an extraordinarily difficult time going down on me and has pretty much given up. It also means that she has always been completely against the idea of even attempting anal sex. We've been together for 18 years, so obviously this is not a deal breaker; and I'm not interested in pursuing another lover just to satisfy these wants.

All that said, I'm certain that I'm not the only one to have these complaints on LPSG. What have any of you done to help, enable, or encourage your lover to accommodate you orally or anally? Is there anything that can be done, or is this (to quote Jack Nicholson) as good as it gets?

When I'm with partners who don't want to take me orally, I suggest they wrap a hand around my shaft and they can pick any spot along the shaft. I let them know they don't have to take me any deeper than that, and with their hand around me, they can control the depth easily.

As for anal sex, let me ask if you are wider at the base than the tip. If so, then some width issues don't matter as much if you don't go too deep. Just put lots of lube on, and then even more lube, and just go a little bit in. If you have a cock head which is wider than your shaft, you can let her know that once the head goes in, the rest is easier. You'll just need to push the cock head past the sphincter muscle at first. Once your cock head is inside, stay still inside her for a moment without putting even another half inch in. Let her get used to the feel of that, and then slowly push in a little bit more once she is ready. Again let her say how deep to go.

Yes on all this,and it makes me almost certain that the issue is more psychological than physical. She can fit a little in her mouth, but it's very difficult for her. That limits her to hand and tongue work, which I love and I do encourage her to do; but which she won't sustain for any length of time. I take a long time to reach orgasm anyway, so this is really frustrating, and I'm sure that feeds into her insecurity no matter how encouraging I am.

Actually (according to your posted measurements) you are a good bit longer than me, but I am thicker. My wife can't do cowgirl either. It tires her out too much to not go full penetration, and full penetration bangs her cervix. Fortunately we have a lot of other positions that work for us.

Well Space_Lord, you are definitely not alone. You basically just described most of my experiences to a 'T'. I'm have plenty of length, but a lot more girth.
