Now i understand the difference between the two, but maybe not so much the emphasis on GIRTH and not width. i get that girth alludes to that "full" feeling, so filling all corners of the vagina walls/anus. but width deals with stretching the walls and typically width and girth are related (eg. someone with a 2 inch width will likely have a large or monster girth likewise someone with a 1.2 inch width will likely have an average or below average girth). so why the emphasis on just girth?

excuse my stupidity hehe, i just want to know (i'm not packing much in the trousers so maybe that's why i'm so dense in regards to the matter)

I feel like they're used interchangably.

Width is easier to measure as most people just use a rigid ruler to measure. However, cocks come in different shapes,so 'girth', or circumference, is more of a true measure.

Girth is the circumference.
Width is the diameter.
They are related and roughly proportionate (not completely proportionate because a dick will not be a perfect cylinder) but not at all the same.

Both numbers can be handy. Some cocks are definitely very WIIIDE instead of more round. If all you have is the circumference..and no pic..you'd have no idea it was a really wide cock.

Either way, lots of girth and/or lots of width are great fun. :)

If you would like to know the volume of the cock, you would prefer a girth measurement given that few cocks are perfect cylinder shaped.

Yeah what Conan said. I didn't consider myself thick mainly because I'm nearly 2 inches in width, but only 5.9 inches in circumference.

But I've gotten very good reviews on it's wideness, so I'd say it's a 50/50 kind of thing.

I think that's the second such comment I've seen regarding girth here in the past day. The other was "I'm long, but not thick at only 5.5". I guess being modest in these parts where the numbers are higher makes sense, but from all that I've read, both of those figures are nice and fat by real world standards.

exactly, 5.5 and up and you have a very big girth.

Anyone know what average width is?
Average circumference is 4"96 - so while a penis has an elleptical circumference, the width will be a little wider as a circle approx 1"65 (devided by 3 and not 3.14)
But anyway, width is hard to measure exactly, start/endpoint even with a calliper (pressure)

I always thought it was around 1.5.Thanks for your reply.

Ah, I see ^^'
I didn't really know that until today lol

*feels silly*

yes not sure if there is any cock that is perfectly round. I am 2.5" wide and 6.5" around if I was perfectly round I would have a girth of 10" I think.

No then you would have a circumference of 7"85, not 10"
By the way for a 6"5 you have a very wide dick, but perhaps a rounding factor.
