I don't think any of his children are going to become much politically.

Trump has so many problems to deal with once he leaves office, that even if he evades impeachment I'm not sure if he's going to be able to run for president again. Also, he'll be in his late seventies. I know Biden won in spite of his age, but Trump is really reliant on his unique charisma. If he loses that, I don't think he can even win the primary.
Oh, Ivanka is definitely preparing to run for office. She's already fundraising for Rubio's seat, so be prepared.

I hope the new Administration will step up the vaccination distribution and injection process! The states are overwhelmed - we need the FEDs to take over this Herculean effort,

If Biden is smart he'll use the riot and related actions by white nationalist groups to come down very, very hard. As in use the law to ruin them with bankruptcy and jail. Don't know if he's going to be trotting out Obama's "adult in the room" BS, but he may actually have been observing and will show he understands how to use power.

To hell with healing. These people need to be smashed.

Trump tried to have the Vice President and The Speaker of the House killed. You cannot be serious.

This is the heart of the lies. There is no evidence for such a thing. He called for a peaceful protest about alleged vote fraud. Some supporters out of 10s of thousands got out of hand. Alleging vote fraud is not a crime.

We're not talking about his experience; we're talking about his criminal abuse of power. You just said *that* could happen again ("It could even be a Democrat").

I see no one details criminal abuse of power, incitement of insurrection, etc. How silly. On a par with the absurd "Russia" investigation. . .

This is a bad faith argument that immediately disqualifies the speaker.

Trump spent months propagating the lie that his loss could only be the result of a "rigged" election. On the day of the riot, he spent an hour and thirteen minutes stoking up his followers' outrage with more lies about the "stolen" election, saying “our country has had enough,” “we will not take it anymore,” “stop the steal," "it’s time that somebody did something about it,” and "if you don’t fight like Hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.” He then directed the worked-up crowd to march on the Capitol, where they had no practical recourse to take action other than a violent attack.

If I'd been part of that crowd, I'd have felt pretty damn incited. Of course, you may feel differently, so it looks like our votes on impeachment cancel each other out.

Did you know that the President does not need to have committed a "crime" to be convicted in the Senate of high Crimes and Misdemeanors? Impeachment is a political process, not a legal process.
