I have thought this for years. never really had a taste for milk, yogurt or much else dairy wise my whole life. It always struck me as odd that we are the only species on this planet that drinks the milk of another species. Why? and how could mother nature have intended that in the digestion of things. strange.

We spend an inordinate amount of time growing into our massive brains on our bi-pedal skeletal frame. Milk is an excellent source of calcium (amongst other things) which helps us to grow over the 15 or so years it takes. Mum's breasts can't keep up with that especially as women would have been almost constantly pregnant in our past (and now for many).
