I would hope the "enlightened" side of politics would be able to turn the other cheek and realize that the enemy mentality in two party American politics is A. perpetuating the pointless bickering and inability for America to prevent its fall to shit and B. exactly what the ruling powers want you to have, to perpetuate the rule of two parties who are really one in the same, but talk as though the other side is a bitter enemy to keep themselves in power.
