2011 Global Prosperity Index
UK think tank, Legatum has just released its 2011 index of prosperity, ranking 110 nations in categories such as Freedom, Health, Life Satisfaction, etc.
UK stays in 13th place this yr (US is 10th).
Kinda surprised to see India so low down (altho their growing influence and productivity maybe doesn't filter down to everyday people yet?), whereas Ireland and Iceland are quite high (not in the economy section tho, I presume).
Scandinavian nations are towards the top, as per.
