And then even further in the other direction.

It just seems perverse to me, making things as bad as possible now in hope it will make things better later.

But you're welcome to your view. There may even be some actual voters who feel the same way.
I think it's worth a try...
The past 30 - 50 years haven't changed much and the status quo isn't acceptable.

We need a break and then a new start

...I say: Vote for Trump. He has to PROVE that he is an incompetent, racistic, liar.
If Hillary will win, in 4 years his supporters will say "Trump would have done it better, so lets vote for the next lunatic who promise us everything we want to hear"

Only if Trump can fail, his supporters will notice that such a politic leads to nowhere... this offers the option that people will vote more reasonable
Your theory will undergo a trial, I'm afraid, Perados.
My advice, going forward: Be careful what you wish for.

The real problem with your theory perados is that voters might conclude the insiders are no good, and the newcomers are no good either. In short, that the whole system does not work. The opinion polls suggest that people in this election on both sides will have voted for someone they do not think is fit to be president.

Ahh well, that's politics. Wonder what the stock market will think of this one. I just dont see the guy being able to fulfil his stratagies and promises while at the same time be economically viable. Wonder how many US people now, will try harder to avoid paying taxes.

Politics is like a box of chocolates.

Sounds like the pound will be recovering somewhat against the dollar tomorrow. A number of pundits have observed that at least before he started campaigning, Trump was more of a tradional democrat than republican. He has a number of campaign promises which might be regarded as protectionsist and against US interventuion abroad. Though also some which are self contradictory. Bottom line is markets are unhappy because they have no idea what a Trump president means. In reality he may yet prove popular.

Some time ago i posted president trump was no more likely than Brexit. In both cases, an outsider called for chnage because the present system was no good. Remains to be seen if change will make a difference.

I never would have thought that he could win... I'm a bit afraid :)

Now I hope that my theory will work and that he won't do too much damage
