Just learned about the conservative boycott of Pepsi that has been going on since January because of Pepsi's support of "the homosexual agenda." Apparently the wackos from Westboro Baptist Church (of God Hates Fags fame) have gotten into the act with God Hates Diet Pepsi signs. LOL. I wonder if that makes the conservative realize how silly this is? Like the Texas School Board selling all their Disney stock several years ago.

It just underlines what a dangerous collection of hate mongers are lurking about which we must always be on the alert. I wouldn't anyone with such weird religious mental illness ill health or death, but -- In The Name of Jesus Christ -- they certainly want to shoot and kill anyone who does not agree with them.

Q: How many Jewish American Princesses do you need to screw in a light bulb?
A: Two. One to drink the Diet Pepsi and the second to call her father.
(approved of and egged on to add to this post by my own JAP currently staying with us because all she can find is Diet Coke. It's hard to see a good friend go through withdrawal).

PS: Deepest apologies to any JAPs who might find the above joke racially or otherwise offensive. It was posted with the best of humorous intentions.

That is a great quiz question for 'Have I Got News For You'.

    Q. What does America, Sweden, Diet Pepsi and Fags have in common?

    A. Nuts

But Pepsi is so much better than other mainstream colas.

(I try to get smaller brands when it comes to sodas--colas, especially. My personal favorites for cola are Boylan's and Sprecher.)

Is it politically correct to drink Royal Crown Cola in the USA?

¿Y por qué tienes problemas con mi castellano? Te callas bien, conmigo.

Nope, to transliterate "You fall well with me." Idiomatic Spanish for "He's a good guy/egg/somewhat reasonable person."

At the little store down the street on Calle Muntaner from my piso they sell Inca Cola, imported from Peru. It's very sweet, a piss yellow color, and has enough caffeine in it to make you grind your teeth down to the roots. God may hate it, too. But I'm certain dentists love it.

midlifebear - Inca Cola! I had the stuff almost 30 years ago when my Navy ship pulled into Callao, Peru. I haven't thought of the stuff in I-don't-know-when. Thanks for bringing back a memory.

In fairness to conservatives everywhere, the Westboro people are considered waaaaaaaaaaay out there. They are very good at generating publicity for themselves. I see no reason to give it to them.
