The Squeeze and I are getting ready to leave the Land of the Sun (god). After four months in the Mexican State of Oaxaca we treated ourselves to an extended stay in Puerto Vallarta. We're now in Mexico D.F., the capital city of this amazing country. On our taxi ride from the TAPO bus station to our hotel we passed the Zocalo, the historical center of the city. Barricades held back piles of medicine, bandages, medical supplies, food, water -- everything needed in Haiti right now. Every day Mexicans who can barely keep themselves alive have raised almost U$S20 million in Pesos plus all of the medical and emergency equipment. Same thing has happened in Guadalajara, Merida, and Acapulco. We wired cash via the Clinton website.

Mexicans have a special affinity for countries destroyed by earthquakes. The memory of September 19, 1985 is still an open wound in Mexico City and surrounding valley. On that day at about 7:25 AM the first of three major earthquakes killed more than 20,000 people just within the city. There's still many condemned buildings left tilting about the city after 25 years which are being raized one by one as funds become available. The remains of victims from that tragedy are discovered every month.

Pat Robertson, indeed. One must possess a special stupidity to believe he represents anything but unbridled evil.

Enough about the quake... let's talk about you...

Please... continue... tell us about the lovely and splendid tour guide named Romero who you took to sacred gardens of floral delight, before you and the "squeeze" headed off to Cozumel to bask in the sun and pescados du jour.

Why is half of everyone of your longwinded blathering posts COMPLLLLLLLLLLLETELY OFF THE OP spent about you, and your lifestyle/wealth?

What the Face Queen fails to understand is that I'm not on vacation. I just don't live in the USA. Why? Well, Face Queen is there to start with. Who needs to cultivate the socially and emotionally crippled like him? LOL! Yeah, seriously, Face Queen, even poor devout catholic campesinos are substantially more compassionate about their fellow human kind than you. Better you should stick to ranting, seething, and railing against the political winds about which you have no control.

And maybe a job would help? Get your meds checked?:smile::smile:

Oh, and good luck with all that. :biggrin1:

P. and S. And so you're not completely deluded, we only spent about 10 days in Puerto Vallarta -- at a gay resort -- the last few months we've been working as volunteers in the various pueblos around the State of Oaxaca, managing a small loans program for people who have nothing (and I do mean nothing) start their own humble businesses. And you, Face Queen, what have you been doing lately besides steaming in your own poop? Cheers.
