At my church, if you're in the choir, you can't wear jeans eventhough they are mostly covered by the choir robe. Everyone has to be in dress clothes and wear black shoes (and no jewelry other than a wedding ring and watch) so there is a degree of uniformity because a choir robe does not fully cover a person up.

Unless you wear a sign that states you're not wearing undies, and your pants don't look sprayed on.......why should anyone care if you've gone to church commando ?

It's not like God doesn't know what size you've got in there.

After year of jockey pouch style shorts, I finally was liberated and I now really enjoy freeballing it and wear boxers most of the time, especially silk ones. I never wear anything when at home, not even pants, and sleep in the nude. As soon as I come in the door, it all comes off until I leave again. The freedom of it all hanging out I find to be remendously liberating and exhilerating!

But, going commander to church? I just wouldn't feel right. I know people dress down more these days, but since childhood it was always my want to look as best as I could when going to church. But, that's just me.

But when I come home, off if all comes!

I do occasionally and I am sure others have also. How is it disrespectful to do something nice for your body which is a gift from God? Wouldn't God be proud we are treating the gift he gave us so well?

It's probably a safe bet that Jesus and his Disciples went commando all the time. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a Hanes or BVD outlet around back then. I'm just sayin'...

You are correct. Although I had heard that there is a dig near Giza that may have turned up the first Fruit of the Loom store. :biggrin1:

Simply not true. The Bible clearly states that Jesus required his disciples to wear athletic supporters once they'd made the decision to follow him. It's right there in the gospels...
