well if he killed someone then i think the cops would be justified, but he didnt' even hit another car, and the private property damage he caused(tree, fire hydrant) is handled through insurance or by writing a check, not the criminal justice system, unless it's a deadbeat with no insurance or money.

he could have his wife charged with assault or attempted murder though. a golf club is a deadly weapon, even in the hands of a supermodel.

You have to think if his late father Earl were alive he's say to his son, "go out there and be a man." If Tiger had just gone out with a sheepish grin and said "boy I'll never do that again. Elin was one pissed-off Swedish blonde" everybody would have understood. Hey it worked for Kobe Bryant (along with a huge diamond gift to his wife.) Instead Tiger Woods is hiding in his house behind his lawyer which is doomed to fail. The public has an insatiable voyeuristic curiosity and both the tabloids and the Florida Highway patrol unlimited funds, even more than Tiger has in his bank account. They will dig up dirt like drug prescriptions for pain killers and other women he's had affairs with until his squeaky clean image is in tatters.

Let's see if he flies out to Thousand Oaks, California and the Sherwood Country Club for the Chevron World Challenge invitational.
