actually horse, I believe it's common knowledge on the net that all caps is shouting. I guess its just another way you can add emphasis or better communicate thoughts/feelings etc.
Now a few things that I would like to mention:
First to everone:
I like horsehung. Sure he is a (to put it mildly) confrontational member. But I believe his short fuse is just who he is, and adds a flavor to the board that otherwise would be lacking. Now I admit, sometimes he crosses the line. But many of us cross the line from time to time. (for example, I did not like what he said to our distinguished member pecker....he apologized for this btw)
Second to Horse:
I did however felt the need to respond to several of the things you said. Firstly, I do not know if 97% of the people on here are fakers. But what I do know, is they may have valid reasons for not joining your group. For example, in my case:
1) I am only 8.5 so I do not qualify (however, I do have a banana curve, so who knows?)
2) even if I did qualify, I do not have a cam...and have little need for one. If I did buy a cam, it would only be for the people here, because I cannot imagine what else I would use it for.
3) Even if I did have a cam, I have not interest in camming with a bunch of guys.
Now, I am certain that many members probably have the same concerns, with joining your group as I do. Heck, some people prolly just are camera shy? who knows.
Secondly, everyone knows about Mensa. However, you shouldnt have to mention them either. I believe everyone can tell (based on your posts) who belongs there, and who doesn't. For example, I believe that our very own jonb could make the cut, if he isn't already a member.
and, while I am on this subject, I really do not see the point of Mensa. I do not mean to step on anyone's toes, but what really is the point of the organization? One would think that they would use their talents to solve world problems or something. Instead, atleast in Georgia, all they do is play games....from what I can see anyway. From what it's worth, I believe you should join the AMA or AMS.

(we do this often) She made a comment that the Paganini is much more difficult to play than the 3rd. She has been playing the piano for about 17 years, and apparently she finds the 3rd much easier than paganini. Is this your experience as well?

I agree with ya about Mensa that is why I indicated the level of ones IQ had nada to do with intelligence and yes mostly it IS game playing , I would like a more Philosophical MENSA.

Well Not sure if you mean a Paganini piano concerto since unbeknownst to me Paganini never composed piano concerti However if you are speaking of the Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini , which I believe is op 43 ( dont quote me) ABSOLUTELY NOT , except for one Variation the Rhapsody is a walk in the park compared to the 3rd piano concerto and NOTHING in his concerti matches the beauty or poignancy of his 2nd (op.18) the Rhapsody is only 20 mins whereas the 3rd is 40+ mins and VERY technically challenging what with those rapid chords that stretch yhour hands completely and which make the greatest of virtuosos see RED when learning to play them lol
