The only times I can drink dairy-y milk on its own, is if I'm eating a dessert/pastry that is sweet. Otherwise I have to turn it into chocolate milk/hot chocolate. Too much lactose makes my tummy grumpy in any case, so I rarely drink it. 95% of the time I'm drinking water.

The milk/honey idea is intriguing, though!
 
I only drink milk with something else never alone...

With:
-PBJ
-Chocolate Cake
-Cereal
-Stale sourdough french bread
-Chocolate chip cookies
-Warm apple pie
-Vanilla milkshakes

and it needs to be icy icy cold.
 
Plain in a glass or in a bowl of cereal.

My doctor just switched me from 1% to whole milk because my labs came back and I had like zero Vitamin D. Off-the-charts awful. And whole milk is the only kind that provides enough D because it's a fat soluble vitamin.

Of course we must recall and remember our Vegan friends and those that are lactose intolerant and therefore cannot have milk in their body.


I drink 2% fat milk, sometimes straight from the container, sometimes on cereal (as I am doing right now with my delicious gluten free rice chex), almost never alone.

Never understood the fake milks out there like rice and soy, you might as well give me a a jug of powdered milk (some people call it dry milk. It's a vile powder that gets mixed into recipes or with water to resemble milk)

For a time as a child I was treated to the luxury of fresh from the cow milk, that was about the best thing out there.
 
I have a glass of cold milk once a day ideally with a warm from the oven cookie or brownie.
If not I sometime make a health shake in the blender or have milk on cereal or oatmeal.

I really only like hot cocoa if it's got peppermint schnapps in it.
 
couple of glasses everyday ......... if not feeling well then a mug of hot milk before bed
