Its interesting how this satire works (I think it works), yet the New Yorker cover seems to be a dud. Both venues (New Yorker and Jibjab) have a tradition of wit...maybe this just illustrates the agility of video media over printed magazine covers; one is static and slow to articulate (will next month be a spoof on McCain?) while the other is quick to cover multiple points all within a context of music, imagry, and words that is inclusive and much more thorough.
Interesting case study, at least. Some favorite lines are: "So forget he's a jackass who's liberally prone...its time for some campaignin" (W)
"I've got one or two things to say about change, like the change we must change to the change we hold dear" (O)
