I'm getting really frustrated with these little threads. I used to think starman was halfway intelligent, but am now rescinding this belief.
Maybe his threads such as
Biden spends more on cheese than on charity or
Trinity's back. Everything makes sense now or
Top economists give Obama, Geithner F+ or
Insecure Obama taking shots at radio host should have given me a clue.
----------
This new thread (
Gov't salivating over swine flu scam/hoax) posted 3 hours ago begins:
If...I repeat IF....the gov't temporarily shuts down the air travel for this ridiculous swine flu foolishness...it will destroy the already-on-life-support airline industry.
It will give them [gov't] the perfect opportunity to move in and take over the airlines, just as they are increasing their control in the banking and auto industries.
----------
Ok. So starman tells us the airlines are on life support and that the government may temporarily shut down air travel due to "swine flu foolishness". And after the governement shuts down these airlines, they will then "take over the airlines".
Just as starman assured us not too long ago that Obama wanted to take over the banks and take over the auto industry.
----------
About 6 hours ago, starman posted another thread (not a comment, mind you, but an actual thread -
Lunchpail Joe Biden slips up again; huge blow to airlines) which began:
Biden warns family not to fly, use subway over swine flu fears
Nice work, Joe.
The airlines are on the brink of collapse, and you tell Americans not to fly.
----------
This thread tells us that the airlines are "on the brink of collapse" and Joe should shut up.
So , in two consecutive threads (not comments posted, but actual threads) star tells us that the airlines are "already-on-life-support", that the airlines are "on the brink of collapse", that Joe should shut up and that Obama nefariously wishes to swoop in on the airlines, shut them down and take them over like a latin american military junta-dictatorship.
I can't respond here. This is like getting out the plastic bucket and shovel and playing in the sandbox (for all I know starman still believes Obama was educated in a radical madrassa). This reduces politics and current events to Fox News soundbites. It's less "Meet the Press" - and more 2nd-rate conservative talk-radio host meets National Enquirer meets WWF SmackDown.
