Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the kitchen; Bravo says put down your foamer and other assorted gizmos,. Taped from New York- It's time for Top Chef season 5. Scheduled to start up on November 12, which is a Wednesday.

Gothamist: Top Chef: New York Revealed, Meet the Cheftestants!
Top Chef : Season 5
With a new assorted cast of weirdoes and wannabes we are introduced to Melissa, Jill, Lauren, Fabio, Hosea, Richard, Gene, Radhika, Alex, Carla, Ariane. Leah, Jamie, Danny, Jeff, Patrick and Stefan (who looks frighteningly similar to the irritating Tom Collicchio).
Bios : Stefan
Bios : Tom Colicchio

So. are you as excited as Bravo expects you to be or did the first 4 seasons of Collicchio do you in? I myself am only halfway interested as I am still nursing a grudge over the early dismissal last season of Manuel.

If you have a Cuisinart it is really easy...but it costs more to make it from scratch, but it is well worth it!

I haven't tried the Cuisinart method, always relying on the rapidness of my hand to keep at it until things are at the proper consistancy. When feeling lazy I just head out and purchase the 64oz container of mayo (my tuna/pasta salad requires it as do my turkey sandwiches) and the (cold)roast beef.

You can keep your hands free to do other rapid strokes while the food processor does all the work!:biggrin1:

i love top chef and deno, i make my own mayo about once a month or so. very easy w/the blender and/or food processor. eggs, oil and a little red pepper. put some grated onion in it and it makes the best tomato sandwiches. yum.

And you thought that he couldn't get any better... You surprise me every day, sexy boy.
