No, but one night while his band was playing, him wearing Zoot Suit style pants, he put down his sax, jumped off the stage, grabbed me, and swung me around a few times, and "something" smacked me firmly, just above the knee. It wasn't his keys... I've wondered, ever since.

(But, I suppose I've gone off topic, now.)

Perhaps he had a soprano sax stored in his pocket.

Now...back to grammar indiscretions.

I've never been arrested by the grammar police. However, here's something which comes to mind. It's which is "it is." And its which simply shows possession.

I work with a lot of people where English is not their native language. And the biggest thing that pisses me off most is when they use gender pronouns interchangeably. For example: "Carla went to the store and he saw her mother." I am constantly asking who belongs to what pronoun, because it's more or less laziness and not a linguistic thing.

I don't know if it is laziness... From what I hear from so many people is that the English language is not all that easy to master. It is rather quirky. I'm forgiving about it with people who are trying to learn it as a second or third language. I'm glad that they are trying!... A kind "correction" might be helpful for them to remember things like pronoun usage.

I'm less forgiving with people that are born and raised in English speaking countries, but are slobs about their own language. But, like I should talk... I am constantly appalled by my own typos... and, as one example, I will NEVER get the who/whom, whoever/whomever thing right.

For most other things, I can understand that. It's usually because the individuals in question are too preoccupied with texting or surfing the Internet to actually do it correctly.

Wait... What were we talking about?... ;)

I think you were talking about what a charmer I am and how you were going to scrutinize my avatar.

TS: OMG! I can't believe he said that!
AB: Who?
TS: Him!
AB: Whom?
TS: The badass with the tie who stole my "come hither" line to befuddle you, oh delicious one!
CS: What can I say? "I am a parade!"

Later, kids!:D
