That's an interesting article. Grapefruits have long been touted as one of the more healthy fruits. It is probably the high level of citric acid which acts as an antioxidant.

The only problem is that grapefruit cannot be eaten or drank with numerous prescription medications. I can't have it with my thyroid meds. :rolleyes::frown1:
