Fightstar covered Jordin Sparks' 'Battlefield' in Radio 1's Live Lounge earlier this year. :D

(and on the flip side...Rolf Harris covered 'Stairway to Heaven' :p )

While you were writing this I was just downloading Greg Laswell's 'Girls Just Want to have Fun' off iTunes! Not that the original by Cyndi Lauper was bad at all, it wasn't, but Greg's is very different and very lovely.

Also much prefer's Obadiah Parkers 'Hey Ya' than Outkasts.

he made it sound like a completely different tune. in fact it was brilliant.

Thanks, I think Milow just give the words of the song, the meaning of the song more value then 50cent.

Seether's cover of "Careless Whisper" from Wham is actually pretty good!

I particularly like Chris Cornell's cover of Billie Jean, not that the original is bad, but I much prefer Cornell's version.

David Cook also has a cover of the song with a similar composition, but I don't think it's anywhere near as good.

I love the original version of Don't Look Back in Anger. One of my fave songs, and deffo my favourite Oasis one.

When I listen to it on my iPod, I picture myself singing it, lol - even tho I cant sing, hahaha.

And, not to diss XTC or nuffin', but Sarah Mac's cover of "Dear God" kicked so much ass that XTC was quoted in an interview as saying, "We should have sung it that way."
