Hi,

I've found a fantastic new way to get videos. Much better than rapidshare. Plus you get previews of all the vids, you can upload, and there are NO viruses or any kind of malware at all. The site is called www.veoh.com

You have to register for adult content. Then you have to turn off the content filter. Then click on CHANNELS, and ADULT channel. You can search and browse there, and watch previews of the hundreds of vids on the site that users have uploaded.

(If you want to save any videos, you have to have their software running in the background thou. (minor inconvenience). It lets you save the complete vids to your computer). Believe me, it's well worth it! hehe

So far there hasn't been ANY Ad-ware, or any viruses. So I really like it.

Thanks Bigwoodie for that link, yeah it is a great site!!! Once you`ve downloaded, if you open your drive - programme files - veoh - mediafiles, you can copy your downloads to the folder of your choice and view them with windows media or quicktime players, depending on the file type. Just make sure you copy the video file and not the thumbnail pic (there will be 2 files for each download). Then just a case of deleting the file in mediafiles. That way you don`t have to have the software running.

Is there any way to download stuff without installing the Veohsetup.exe? I'm having trouble with it (every time I download it, something deletes it when I click on 'run'. I've closed Adzilla and AVG but it still happens; v. frustrating!)

I love veoh too. There's a very easy way to save any vids you download onto their client software. When you want to delete something it'll ask you if you want to send it to your recycle bin. I just send it there, then open the recycle bin and cut the vid and paste it wherever I want it to be. It's just an ordinary Windows Media file then. That way I don't have to go rummaging through the dark and dusty corners of my computer.

Sadly they appear to heave removed all adult videos from the veoh site as far as i can tell. The adult section was there yesterday now its gone. That pretty much sucks.

I'm afraid it's true. The email announcement they sent out today reads as follows:

Thank you for using Veoh to publish your videos. Today Veoh has changed its policy and no longer allows the publishing of adult content. We have amended our Terms of Service to prohibit obscene or pornographic content.
Some or all of the videos uploaded through your account have been identified as containing nudity or adult content that violates this new policy and therefore have been removed from the Veoh system.

We hope you continue to use Veoh to publish content that is allowed under this new policy.
