My choices would be:

*if half of what he did was true - must've been quite remarkable.

- Queen Astrid of Belgium, she was quite a remarkable woman here, and adored by the people of Belgium. A friend told me quite some nice stuff of her, that is why I mention her too.
- Mother Theresa, quite a remarkable woman, she is one of the missionaries that made a deal.
- Princess Diana, again another remarkable lady, she had a hard life, but did great things and showed the world a new point of view of how to be a princess, she was new. Still missed. Logical people of the UK loves her.

1. Bill Gates.
2. Whoever invented computer (internet) dating. Nowadays, I can't trust any guy with a PC. How do you ever trust a guy you meet on the internet? By the time, I get to get used to someone...they are dating someone else that they met on the internet. I wish that I could shoot the person whoever thought that internet dating made finding a mate easier.
3. Whoever created these cut-throat, schadenfreude-laden reality shows. Those contestants are treated really bad. I HATE those fucking shows.

Jesus Christ .... real or not, has had an impact on civilization like no other.
Mother Theresa ... moreover, what she represented, as I'm sure there have been thousands who've laid out just as much sacrifice.
Christina Hendricks - that huge boobed secretary on the TV show Mad Men.

Really interesting seeing who people are inspired by. Likin' all the great suggestions! Especially: Wright Bros, Flemming, Gutenberg, Lech Walensa, Columbus, Henry Ford - and Biffy Clyro frontman, obviously :p

I guess who people rate will depend on your own experiences, where you grew up, what things you value, etc.
I also like Louis Pasteur, Elizabeth Fry, Nelson Mandela - but didn't put 'em in my top three.

Kink - Thought you were being serious!
