Only if they also tell you to "feck off" or call you a "feckin' eejit" (idiot).

The word (or rather an Irish word that is pronounced that way -- I think that it is spelled "feic") is a verb in Irish Gaelic that means "to steal," but in Irish English it is a common substitute for "fuck." It is so used with great frequency in the Irish television series Father Ted, to which I was alluding with my quotation from one of the characters.
