Question for everyone: I was just chatting with a guy on Grindr (which I am new to) and we both exchanged pics and made plans for me to come over and then he went quiet. If he's ghosting me, I don't care, but I don't like that he now has nudes of me (+ face pics) and I'm worried they'll end up online. Is this a thing that guys do? Are there sites that publish Grindr nudes?

Never heard of a site like this but I certainly don’t claim exhaustive knowledge of what’s out there.
He could just have cold feet. Perhaps things got a little too “real” for him. Give him time and don’t stress.
Remember that you lose control as soon as you send pics to another person. Use discretion. Don’t be pressured into sending pics before you’re comfortable.

They won't end up online. Trust me, you're not that special to other men which is why he ghosted you in the first place.

Rule #1 when being asked for nudes on Grindr - don't send them.

I think most people have sent nudes of themselves at one point or another. I have sent quite a few nude pics of myself and I hope that I don’t see them again or on any websites. Like another user have pointed out, most people aren’t that special and people don’t usually do malicious activity with it.

But still, I have read and heard of people gotten their facebook and private dating profile pictures stolen or taken without them knowing, and used for click-bait sex ads all over the internet. These only happened to good looking men and women though.

A lady in her 30s got one of her facebook photos stolen and used as a click bait sex ad - saying she’s a 50s something cougar and looking for local young cocks to fuck. She wasn’t naked or dressed slutty or anything, just her posing at a normal wedding with friends but her friends were cropped out from the photo. Anyway the ad was everywhere on the internet on porn sites. She was so embarassed about it because people who knew her have seen the sex ad of her at some point.

First rule of thumb: Do not send nude photos until after you have met the person. Just my thought on it.

Unless you are a 10/10, chances are, your pics won't be circulated. Even if they are, just say your phone got hacked.

But in future, if you are sharing nude pics, make sure they don't show any distinguishable characteristics such as your face, birthmarks, etc. If you are hiding from your family, don't have household items in the background that are relatively unique like sofas, wallpaper, picture frames etc.

You can use face pics but use cropped photos from Facebook/insta so you have plausible deniability of how they got that pic.

I have used grindr and other apps since they came out. I’ve sent my fair share of dick pics but NEVER with my face in them. that’s rule #1.
A few years ago, I got a text from an ex, with a screenshot of a dick pic of mine on tumblr. But since I’ve never sent a dick pic with face, I didnt really care.

he’s probably trolling for pics. So many fake guys on that stupid app. I’ve had my pictures used by others and end up online several times. It’s part of the territory with Grindr. It’s a waste of time.
