I was wondering if somebody's around here that got a membership at GrowlBoys and can answer some questions that keep bothering me. Especially after the last 2 months' 50% off deals I thought this might be the case.

Wanted to give it a try and buy a membership, but there are some things that seem to be quite off.
First of all I'd like to know what exactly you're going to get. The site updates just 1x per month, and every update consists of a novel chapter with cut-in illustrations and a live action scene that gets released a few days after. Now on the website itself you cannot preview much, you can read the first few lines of every chapter and then you get prompted to watch the scene preview. So how long exactly is one chapter? On mansurfers every GrowlBoys entry has a lengthy text, now is that just a preview of the chapter or is it actually the whole written chapter? Then what about the illustrations, how many of them are there for every chapter? When you look at the live action scenes the first thing you notice is that those are old. You can clearly tell by the appearance of the actors that the scenes have been filmed years ago already, which makes me wonder if the same applies to the graphic novel part too.

So in a nutshell I just want to know if it's worth buying a membership.
The content itself looks very hot and interesting, but 28$ for just 1x update a month (no matter if it's graphic novel + scene) seems to be quite a bit outrageous.

Actually, some of the newer footage is shot alongside some of those Family Dick video series that will end showing in 2020, I think Stray of Growl Boys seems to be a tie into the Bill Farnsworth/Alex Meyer series in Family Dick, in short, they were filmed the same time, so Alex Meyer is likely Eddie Raccoon I think.

Some scenes from there the ones removed from Mormon Boyz during the rebranding of Mormon Boyz to Missionary Boyz, some might be tie ins to Family Dick series.

I actually subscribed there a month ago and those who are the staff and models of Charged Media either have their faces obscured by lighting or with eyes closed on the scenes posted prior to the posting of their return scenes in Family Dick and Missionary Boys after the split of Carnal and Charged Media.

With the two scenes you posted you can clearly see that there's a gap of a few years of filming between them.
All actors in the GrowlBoys previews look like how they used to look in other scenes back in ~2014. With the character Bishop you notice that right away, same goes for the Oaks person.

Well could you elaborate about the site content a little then?
How does the novel part of every chapter compare to what mansurfer posts in their previews?
How many illustrations are there for every chapter?
Just put down anything that comes to mind. That'd definitely help a lot :)

I think there are a couple of pages depending on the story, the images do not have the text and relies on the text in the website.

Many of the old scenes that were removed from Missionary Boys became Growl Boys chapters which are said to be 20-30%. I think the story Stray of Growl Boys might be one of the projects that got recast in development, Midsemester Night's dream which is Peter Pounder's scenes there was lifted away from the Mormon Boyz/Missionary Boys website and got edited and they are the scenes not part of the compilations or DVD's, which are his scenes with Brother Johnson which were lifted from Mormon Boys website.

Big Cat and Stray was filmed prior to Bill Farnsworth's and Pierce Paris' new projects around the split of Carnal Media and Charged Media, prior to their projects in Young Perps, Boy for Sale and Family Dick which were filmed side by side, Stray will be only be updated when its Family Dick counterpart is also updated which I think is the one where Bill Farnsworth is paired with Alex Meyer, I think Growl Boys being shot in late 2018 /early 2019 it might also mean that there are some scenes shot in late 2018 and 2019 in Missionary Boys and Family Dick that are also waiting to be uploaded or rather archive footage that will be soon posted, the Story of Kristopher Weston just got updated now.

I think it is possible that Stray is filmed anytime in 2018, then its related Family Dick episodes got shot in the latter part 2018 or early 2019.

What complicates Stray and Big Cat is that it is co-produced by the current owners and staff of Charged Media and it is in Carnal Media just like the Boy For Sale episodes where Bill Farnsworth starred in and some of the people and in the case of Stray (majority) in these episodes are part of the party that sued the owner of Carnal Media, Le Grand that currently owns Growl Boys.

Stray in Growlboyz is in parallel with the Family Man series in Family Dick, they are delayed in upload order to avoid spoiling parts of the plot in Missionary Boys, they mirror each other quite, both the Big Cat and Stray are filmed on 2018, another new footage is the series the Monster series.

Majority of the series in Growl Boyz are recycled from old Mormon Boyz footage that is removed from the Say Uncle website.

If Eddie Racoon is indeed Alex Meyer this means the scene between Eddie Raccoon(possibly Alex Meyer) and Brandon Moore will be the only difference between Growlboyz stay and Family Man series in Family Dick, they delayed release of further chapters of Family Man as well.

I think this also crosses to Brother Crush wherein Alex Meyer is paired with another man, Bryan Adams.

That's a lot of info there. Thanks!
So in other words, some chapters there have been shot relatively recent around 2018 and others a very old dating back to around 2014 and others got recycled from another website. Interesting.

Then what about the actual amount of content of a chapter on Growlboys?
You've only been vague about that. I was hoping that since you were a member just a month ago that you could be a bit more specific. For example:
These are the scenes for November and December last year
THE KID - Therianthropy - Gay - Chapter 4: Nathan could feel it
STRIPES - Hippodrome - Gay - Chapter 1: Daniel could hardly
Obviously those are just previews but the story text could be exactly the full length of what you get as a member at the site. Can you confirm this?
Then that would only leave the amount of illustrations you get for every chapter update.
Is it perhaps just 5 illustrations? Or is it 10 or actually more?

You could see the illustrations if you actually make the browser zoom smaller.

No, you really need to subscribe to see the illustrations, but you could view them in the Pornhub channel of Growl Boys.

The Kid - 6 illustrations

Stripes - 5 illustrations

Actually, Growl Boys Stray goes a little further than where Family Man has gone, since it has posted the scene of President Nelson but he does not really have a speaking role and his face was not shown with his eyes open, I think it is related to Missionary Boys' teasers, this means some of the so-called "new" episodes are actually shot in late-2018/ early to mid-2019, this is basically I think why Joel Someone was able to his face shaved for Gentlemen's Closet because he did not have to tape newer episodes yet, that already happened in early Marco Napoli's episodes, he was uncut in his first one and he is cut in his succeeding episode and his family dick episodes he is also cut.

Well, all you're pointing out is information you can gather by checking all the preview material that's available out there. I was hoping for concrete and specific member-only information though. To find out whether it's worth to buy a membership or not for their ridiculously high prices. Oh well...

It looks like the entire novel text of each chapter is made available on mansurfer scene preview posts.
And on streaming sites such as pornhub or xhamster, the longer but still cut-down preview scenes already show a number (if not all) of the illustrations featured in the new chapter.
Then there's the fact that there are no longer 2 chapter updates per month, they've changed it to just 1x update per month. This move seems weird because they must be sitting on tons of material since you can clearly tell that the scenes have all been shot several years ago already. With the graphic novel part it's difficult to tell whether it's being produced now or if those are also already done just like the scenes.
Well my guess is that everything GrowlBoys has been releasing so far is indeed already finished and done since several years ago. They probably reduced to 1x update per month in order to give them time to produce new content now. You can tell that they're running out of content soon by watching the website trailer and comparing that to what's available on the website. All of that is not really a problem, that just means that it's just a slowly updating website and slow-paced story telling. The problem is the price.
Sure this website is unique and all but 28$ for just 1x update per month... well I don't know if that's really worth it. Considering that all the special unique elements (graphics and novel) are available for free, leaving you "only" with the live action scene as exclusive paid content, I guess the best way for GrowlBoys is to wait a year for your 12 chapter updates and buy a special sales deal membership. Or of course maybe GrowlBoys reduce they prices.
Actually I'd be interested to know how many customers they get for GB all things considered.

I was able to have a membership that I did cancel after 1 month, I think you should wait for that, the experience is different if you have the membership as you can browse the text and images.

Until a certain time because they are exclusive model and staff of the other company that split.
Oh yeah sure, that's right!
That reminds me of this other new website of theirs called Gaycest. They actually re-shot entire scenes from FamilyDick but changed a few things I think. Dunno why but honestly what a waste to do. Why should anyone wait for the Gaycest version when there's already the entire thing finished and done on FamilyDick?
Imho they should have only focused on entirely new content. Getting new models on board too. Gaycest updates 2x per month and half of it is just re-cycled FamilyDick content. Not a good start for a new website I think.
