/my ever expanding collection of songs by female vocalists.
Maybe not that big of a deal, but coming from a standpoint/history of dismissing female musicians out of hand, it is.
All I can say is Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, Alela Diane, JayMay, the lead singer for The Kills ... well, they just sound so damn good coming out of my Monitor 7s ... I feel guilty mostly for my self imposed ignorance.
Well, that and listening to The Fresh Prince and still liking it.
