If you like Flashdance, you'll go bonkers for Xanadu, which NudeYorker mentioned earlier. It's a roller-Disco romantic musical that has been credited with killing the genre of movie musicals for a generation.

This clip is not a music video or special edit: it's the actual end of the movie :biggrin1:

Hmmm maybe if I'd have seen the beginning part. I only continued watching it because Olivia Newton John was singing and her voice is pretty. Other than that.... ummm no Xanadu for me!!!! I'm so glad clothes have upgraded in my generation.

Zombie film "Dawn of the Dead" the original from 1978.

Two of my favourite films ever. I don't think they deserve to be called bad in anyway and are absolute classics of their genres!

Grease is a feelgood film every generation grows up loving. DOTD is hugely influential and is still one of the best examples of mixing horror, suspense and comedy to awesome effect.

Grease II is a bad film I actually loved.

I first saw this film at a Halloween party my parents organised. I've watched it about 20 times since and it's still so bad it's great!

This film is actually quite highly regarded by a good number of movie critics. And by yours truly. Subtextual social commentary, and gore galore. Plus, a mall. A trifecta of wonderfulness.

Like every other self-respecting gay man in Boston in 1978, I stood in line for the opening of The Eyes Of Laura Mars. It combined high fashion with gore and a dash of kinky sex.

The soundtrack has Michael Zager Band's Let's All Chant and a theme song performed by Babs herself (her hairdresser/boyfriend was the producer). It stars Faye Dunaway, who with Tommy Lee Jones, Brad Dourif, Rene Auberjonois leave no piece of scenery unchewed in some ridiculous over-acting competition. I remember seeing the Mad Magazine cover parody of it called The Eyes Of Lurid Mess :biggrin1:

For me, Road House with Patrick Swayze is so bad and so preposterous I can't resist a peek whenever I see it re-run on the constant B-list TV TV channels.
Good call... because you know, the baddest bouncer this side of the Mis-sip is like 5'9" and a buck fifty with a gentle disposition and wicked mad dancing skills? lol...

Oh! The movie 'Freeway' is another one... Reese Witherspoon appears in one of her first films as a southern trailer trash girl who confronts a serial killer (Keefer Sutherland). The movie sucks ass, but some people (like my ex-wife) find the movie highly entertaining. The movie is so bad, it's funny.
Neverheard of that one either. I think Reese Witherspoon is that blondegirl from that dumbblonde movie where she becomes a lawyer? I hate that movie. That belongs here as well I've been forced to sit through it repeatedly by my bestfriend. Keefer was hot though he played in the lostboys that goes here too :)

Found a scene from Youtube!

Several of the old Schwarzenegger action films fit this mold for me... 'Conan the Barbarian' and 'Commando' quickly come to mind.

'Waterworld', 'Dude Where's My Car?' and 'The Fifth Element' also come to mind... 'Howard the Duck' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' fit this mold when I was a kid...

Dude, Fifth Element has so many virtues!

^lol! I'm literally watching The Fifth Element right this very moment with a female friend! (I found it in the 'On Demand' feature of Verizon Fios via Cinemax)

(this is why this chick I'm fucking these days kicks ass. Now only does she fuck like a total champ, but she loves the same kinds of movies I do. yay!)

Mannequin! oh, man, do i love that that crappy movie! I still get chills hearing 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now'.

EDIT: I would definitely have to add The Fifth Element, Showgirls and The Wedding Planner.

But i don't agree with Galaxy Quest being a bad movie. Not at all!
