I've always enjoyed good and stupid vampire movies.
Singing in the car is a must, no matter where I go.
I too love disco music (Bee Gees especially, I'm afraid).
I actually prefer cool whip to real whipped cream.
OK, fine. I admit it. I like George Michael too.

Steve, I'm starting to think you're my long-lost straight twin! All of those apply to me as well!

Interesting thread....

Jana, I pee a lot too... every time I drink something, but like you, in the toilet!

I fold the corners of my toilet paper.
I vacuum everyday so I can see the lines in my carpet.
I iron everything, even sheets.
I sing in the car, even when I don't know the song (don't ask)!
If I like the tune of something, I begin picking it out in my head and then playing it on my imaginary piano (yes, I read music and play by ear).
My clothes in my closet are coordinated according to classification (casual, dress, etc) and are color coordinated. My shoes are the same way.
Furthermore, my clothes are equally spaced apart on the hangers.
I enjoy chick flicks and can watch them over and over and over again.
I love Barbara !

I am going to stop... Damn!

Cleaning. Probably just a bit on the OCD side of it.
[post=306071]Quoted post[/post]

Wanna' come feel guilty at my house?
You can clean all you want.

And I'll come over and pee in your shower.

HAA! Somehow I don't know if that's a fair trade Kink :)

Jeep and DMW, I'm glad you guys enjoyed Gladiators for the eye candy. I was mainly in it for the competition of it since the ladies....weren't quite my type :) Somehow knowing that one those women could just totally own me in a fight isn't quite a turn off....maybe more like just feeling castrated :D

I choke up and get misty eyed about those sad stories on the TV program Cold Case .

Extreme Makover - Home Edition does the same to me. I can't get through the last 10 minutes dry-eyed. ;(

OK, this is just getting creepy now. I do that too--and I have friends who tell me I should consider medication to curb this tendency.

I thought I was the only one! *sniff*

You wouldn't also happen to have a soft spot for Tim Burton movies, James Thurber, concept albums, and requiem music would you?

Psychic twins born ten years apart...tonight on Larry King Live!

Dr. Bubbles, with all you do, how do you find the TIME to iron your sheets? Do you have a household staff to rival Martha Stewart's? (and do they freelance?)

Now you're scaring me! Tim Burton? Yep; especially The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow. I haven't seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet. Thurber? My Life - And Welcome To It. For a short fable, I like A Unicorn in the Garden.
And I love Fauré's Requiem, among others.

Hmmm, lets see.....

I also loved American Gladiators,
I've seen every star trek episode ever made ( all series)
I worship Babylon 5 (the greatest tv show ever!!!)
there are many more, but a guy has to keep some secrets
[post=306014]Quoted post[/post]

hah! American Gladiators was awesome. Spike had episodes on for a while, but haven't seen them on for months now :(

btw, I'm not a full out trekkie or anything, but I'm a fan. Favorite series, DS9. Favorite movie, VI.

Babylon 5.....I think I've found a new friend :D

Some of my own.....
I sing in the car all the time
Peeing in the shower is something I'm guilty of, but only rarely.
I'm a bit of a gamer. Haven't played a whole lot lately, but probably will pick it up again in the summer.
Cleaning. Probably just a bit on the OCD side of it. Cleaned my room and reorganized my posters today, and it felt great.

[/b][/quote]

I'm not a trekkie either, not by a long shot. I just like good Sci Fi.
Or not so good Sci Fi. Guess thats another guilty pleasure.

Well, most of them ... Ice and Diamond especially ... were pretty manly, but then there was Lace: a girly girl if ever there was one. Contestants were always able to plow right over her. I don't think she could beat eggs! I always wondered what the hell she was doing on Gladiators; she didn't have a quarter of the athletic ability of her teammates.

I don't know about you, but this is a little too urban legend "the-call-is-coming-from-the-phone-upstairs"-type of spooky for me.

*backs away slowly*

ESPECIALLY The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow! I'd add Beetlejuice to that list. (I assume you know about this?)

Thurber was a genius. And Fauré is my pick too, but I like Mozart's as well.

Missed out on the whole American Gladiators thing. I think that's a generational difference.

Ummm...where do you stand on old Elton John songs?

OK, which of us is the evil twin? :glare:

I enjoy Beetlejuice as well, but not quite up there with the other three mentioned. Close, though. And yeah ... I know about Corpse Bride and want to see it. It sounds interesting.

Of course I like everything Mozart composed; that goes without saying.

Well, we can't have everything in common. That's be too creepy.

Ummm...where do you stand on old Elton John songs?

I love them, but especially the early stuff like Crocodile Rock and Philadelphia Freedom. I like Pinball Wizard, too, but I can never decide whether that should be considered an Elton John or a The Who song.

OK, which of us is the evil twin? :glare:
Two years ago I would've claimed the title of 'evil twin' without a moment's hesitation, but I've mellowed. Time will tell, I suppose.

AH yes! "Philadelphia Freedom!" And, lest we forget, there's "Rocket Man," "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," and even "I'm Still Standing" when I'm in the car and no one else is around.

I think I like Beetlejuice mainly because of Catherine O'Hara. That and I always had a bit of a "thing" for Winona--at least back in her pre-felon days (can I get a witness?).

* a moment for winsome winona * :loveya: <sigh>

You're SO good at the mysterious intrigue thing! Rare that you drop these dark bits, but when you do, they're very good! I'm totally hooked and will begin reading between the lines immediately.

You and JonB should host an enigma-fest! ;)

OMG Kindred Spirits!

LOL! I still go into "Hot Topic" to replenish my stock of striped stockings! LOL! I think I tend more towards New Romantic vs Gothic though... I too collect Tim Burtoniana! LOL! My favorites are "Nightmare before Christmas", and "Sleepy Hollow". I have been reading Thurber since childhood. I too coordinate collections of clothing according to color, maker, season, etc. I looove Faure, Satie, Debussy,Poulenc. My favorite Faure selection is "Pavane pour enfante defuncte" That is why Branford Marsalis' "Romances for Saxophone" is my favorite classical album. I have read all of the Harry Potter books as well. LOL! I LOVE Merchant Ivory films . Scary!

Naughty

Seriously, I sometimes (gosh this is hard to admit) I eat the skin on fried chicken

There's something else to fried chicken other than skin?

I enjoy listening to disco music.

Oh, yeah! The BeeGee's, Donna Summer - I Feel Love, RollerCoaster -Say what?

I've always enjoyed good and stupid vampire movies.
I too love disco music (Bee Gees especially, I'm afraid).
OK, fine. I admit it. I like George Michael too.

Ummm....yeah.

I'm a bit of a gamer. Haven't played a whole lot lately, but probably will pick it up again in the summer.

I am better at ballblazer on the Atari 7800 than I am at anything else on this planet.

I liked John Denver's music.

Rocky Mountain High! Fuck yeah!

I love mayonnaise on my French fries. (Yes, I do indulge from time to time.)

What's really good on french fries is ketchup, AFTER you dip them in mayo. Can't mix them together.

I have a friend who likes blue cheese dressing on his strawberry short cake, so French fries dipped in mayonnaise don't seem so bad :excl:

or blue cheese (on french fries - or almost anything else)

You wouldn't also happen to have a soft spot for Tim Burton movies, James Thurber, concept albums, and requiem music would you?

Tim Burton - Edward Scissorhands - Johnny Depp - yum.

The Corpse Bride! wow, wow, wow. I hadn't heard about it,you've made my morning!

Ummm...where do you stand on old Elton John songs?

I love them, but especially the early stuff like Crocodile Rock and Philadelphia Freedom. I like Pinball Wizard, too, but I can never decide whether that should be considered an Elton John or a The Who song.

Who song.
Tiny Dancer. Leavon. Yellow Brick Road. Daniel.

I love ABBA (can't help that grew up with it and it stuck)

Coca Cola is an evil company that is destroying the rain forest and does about a billion other evil things and I am a hopeless addict.
ABBA rocks!
The Carpenters are the shit!

NOW, Is it bad that I don't feel guilty about any of these things? If I sang to "I'm Still Standing", I'd feel guilty about that, but the rest, not so much.

OK, like I said, they are guilty pleasures. I'm admitting to a lot here. ;) I like ABBA and the Carpenters too sometimes--anything with a strong melody usually gets me going.

Hope that doesn't undermine my credibility as a purveyor of the darkest EVIL...

Hey, CC, would it be EVIL for me to point out that I can quote your quotes and that they work just fine for me?
