The pro gun argument is basically, "I like guns fuck you don't touch my guns"

I mean if you think you need an ar-15 for home defence you're a moron since aren't most houses in the states made of wood? so after they shoot the intruder how's that dry wall going to stop a bullet? It won't but the guy living two doors down will be a bullet stop for you how kind of him

I mean anyone that's pro gun in the usa has to be blind or stupid I mean every time this happens the pro gun lobby kicks up a huge shitstorm at the mention or inkling of gun control, everyone panics and then they buy all the ammos and guns in stores.

I mean I don't get how stricter gun control translates to government taking our guns, there's a fairly simple way they can reduce gun violence and deaths since you get more people blowing their brains out, so better access to mental health and deeper screening to make sure mentally ill people aren't able to gear up like rambo, and regulating the second hand market and finding a way to stop straw purchases.

I'm inclined to not be in favor of further gun controls for several reasons. But, I am willing to listen to thoughtful argument. Just haven't seen any yet.
