I have an issue with stupid people owning guns. Emotionally upset people. People who see ghosts. People who see conspiracies. People who think I'm trying to outlaw guns. People with mental illness. Former criminals. Is there anything wrong with what I've mentioned?

But its okay for these people to reproduce, drive vehicles, drink, etc.? Where do you draw the line?

Interesting viewpoint. Would you advocate making it illegal for such people to own guns?

And in answer to your question, there are some things that are fine with what you've mentioned, and some that are wrong. You can't deny someone their constitutionally protected rights because they're stupid, believe in conspiracies, or rightly or wrongly believe that there is an anti-gun agenda in parts of government and society (assault weapons ban, anyone?).

As for people with mental illness and former criminals, in many cases they are already stripped of that right.

Can't argue with the stupid people owning guns thing. Everyone that gets one should be able to pass the tests given in concealed/carry classes then practice regularly.

Everyone gets emotional and upset including YOU.
Some conspiracies are real, some are not.

Criminals and former criminals already have that privilege stripped from them forever.

What I DO have a problem with is people trying to take away anyone's freedom however small. Trying to do so makes one thoroughly UN-American. If guns go, TV will have to go as well. TV promotes too many bad things and perpetuates many other bad things.

So if all guns are banned, just HOW do you propose that the majority of us defend and protect ourselves when the situation arises?

I can disagree with people and not always resort to mockery. Just ask people like MercyfulFate who I have had a good discussion regarding Hate Crime Legislation. Even when the discussions are heated, such as my recent bout of words with Northland, I didn't resort to using this silly web tool. Alas, you didn't notice that at all.
