Gunnison Beach Summer Roll Call!!

So, who's been to Gunnison this year or will be going? I am around the straights mostly but see some gay friends on occasion when they aren't cruising. There is a really good party in July there and planning to go a few weekends.

Use this thread as a roll call, to cruise, or to privately perv!

Haven't been to Gunnison? It's kind of magic. The only legal nude beach on the east coast so they say. Alcohol is legal, just no glass bottles. Sex might get you arrested, just a warning. People drive from everywhere, motorcycles from all points, several ferries a day from NYC. Gays to the right, straights to the left, bears in the middle, most people are nice

Have been there a couple of times this year. Its always a great experience going there, and only have been a little disappointed that more friends from this site don't take advantage of this. I will be in Germany as of Friday for the next two months, where I go FKK swimming, but I hope to go back to Gunnison when I get back. I seriously think that we on LPSG should meet up there . I hope this is the start of peoples interest on this site. Always nice to see and be seen. Always happy to get a pm and talk.

I usually go weekdays, trying to use up my vacation time one day at time. I play it by ear each week and pick a good weather day off. Weekends it just gets to crowded for me to relax

Ah, Gunnison...love that beach.
I usually go weekly/every other week, vacation permitting...

I went on Monday for the first time.

Great place. Kind of a trek from Manhattan but the ferry ride is nice. Clean beach, nice views and nice that they have outdoor showers and bathrooms.

Environment was not really cruisy. Saw no hard ons and only a few just-barely-semis. Was very surprised at how small the average guy there was- much smaller endowment than the average NYC gym locker room. Great to see guys of all sizes feeling comfortable with their bodies but happy with the number of admiring glances I got

it's a different environment than the locker room. plus, most of the guys you see walking around are coming back from a dip in the waves. shrinkage is a reality, despite how much we might tug against it...

I’ve been to this beach many times. One of the few American nude beaches with alot of fully nude great looking fit guys of all ages. Looks like a Bruce Weber scene at times with all the good looking muscular men splashing naked in the water. And there’s a view of the Manhattan skyline from your beach towel. It’s a beautiful place, clean and pleasant. The people tend to be very friendly—I’ve made a few acquaintances who also live in Manhattan like myself. The ferry ride from NYC is nice and easy and picturesque—oh and the ferry serves drinks and food.
