OMFG...I remember a couple years back when this was excerpted in an issue of Playboy. Completely effed-up story!

Sadly, life sometimes imitates art...a few days ago the little six-year-old girl in Omaha died from exactly that injury, which she got last summer when she sat on the drain in a public kiddie pool.

Pahlahniuk is a fucking genius. I love his work. Graphic, but some of the most eloquently written things I've ever read. My favorite author bar none.

Yeah I read the whole book, that story was very cool, another story involving a CPR dummy, razor blades and well....you just have to read the book hehe.

"Haunted" it was called I believe.

Yeah, although it was written as a short story first he complled it with a lot of other short stories and them tied them toether in "Haunted". All the stories in the book were based on true stories he had heard or read about, which makes them all the more disturbing.
