It's correct... except that it's usual to express the second measurement in terms of girth (Umfang), rather than width, outside the German-speaking world. :wink:

If you are interested, John Tradescant was the first English botanist to collect in Virginia (the name was early applied by the english to the continent) in the 1630's. There is a genus in the family iridacae called tradescantia, (commonly spiderwort), there are several other botanical applications.

I like the name, not familiar with the cultivar. Very few roses are hardy enough for south central Alaska, one I have is called Austrian briar, very bright yellow, mostly people here grow just rugosa's, white and rose colored.
