Circumcised at 11y 7moths, so not an adult but old enough to know the difference in wanking before and after getting cut. I much prefer being circumcised, even though we cut men are in a minority in the UK, and have had no issues with loss of sensitivity. So I count as a "happily circumcised man".

I was cut my senior year in college (Auburn). I was ok with my moderate phimosis (had to use both hands to retract my flaccid penis) but had problems with psoriasis on my body, including hands, face and foreskin, mostly during the winter months. This time I had swelling of the glands and went to my home dr that referred me to a dermatologist - then was referred to a surgeon and circumcised. To be honest, the outcome was just fine for me. I don't think of my circumcision status during intercourse and the experience for me is the same as before getting cut. Masturbation required a little rediscovery at first, but I am ok with it now. That is my story...
1 week cut to the hour - for anyone considering it and worried about the pain and recovery as much as I was, I'm so genuinely surprised at how the experience has been.
My only discomfort so far is glans sensitivity as I had phimosis (initially mild, then later quite a lot more severe) and my knob wasn't used to being exposed all the time or rubbing against my underwear. If your knob is already used to the outdoors, you'll be in a way better position! A week in and the discomfort is minimal now. I'm discovering that I'm a fairly heavy precummer, never noticed before as it was always just trapped & wasted lubing up the inside of my foreskin!

Excellent - glad it's going well. You should be well on the way to healing by now. And as you say, discomfort, not pain.
Half a year and your knob is used at the new situation. I had, 35 years ago, the same problem as you had with pymosis. Now the glance has lost all sensivity that is the bad, but after he got free the knob has make a grow spurt.
I am also a heavy precummer and still, i am nearly 60, he leaks every day.
Pros: No longer smells wet and musty. No longer itchy and swollen. No more trapped pubic hairs. Used to have those pearly papules but as the head keratinised, they are now hardly visible.
Cons: It's so tight. Hairy pubic skin gets pulled up to the shaft, ballsac gets pulled up to the shaft. Nothing to play with when wanking so lube becomes essential. It's low cut and the frenulum and the sensitive bits around that are gone - about 70% loss of sensitivity.

Hi guys I have been thinking about getting cut for years now. My skin works fine not tight on my head or anything. I just like the look of a cut one. My question is. I have a darker penis kinda like being tanned, if I get cut will it look odd the 2 different colours? Also will the colour even out if I tan nude once cut?
Doing it because you think it looks nice? What a shame. Either way, you won’t get rid of the two tone and you’ll get a scar to match. If anything you’ll get sun burn on your head and what’s left of your inner foreskin.

y ran outside all the time with my forskin pulled back exposing my head. I like my head tanned to match my skin on my dick.
Did it work? I’m coming from a different place. Either way, circ and retracted are two different things. I’d never do it for looks.
As far as the two tone goes, it will probably end up matching when your inner skin and head become dry, but really it’s tough to say. Everyone is different. Cut guys tend to have more of a skin tone, uncut guys more of a raw look. That raw look will lessen to some degree.

I got circumcised for the look. I like the scar line, see nothing wrong with circumcision scar lines. I wish I had known I could have asked the surgeon to locate the scar higher up on the shaft. My scar is only about 1/4 inch from the head. It's only visible when I have an erection. Bigbob7474 go for it. But I would ask for the scar to be located moderately higher up on the shaft. Look at some pics and find one you like.

I'm glad to hear you are getting circumcised soon. I had wanted to be circumcised since the first time a saw a circumcised dick when I was about 7 or 8 years old. It belonged to a young man I would guess his age to be about 20 years old. I saw him at a trough urinal. I was in awe of his handsome circumcised dick. I could hardly keep my eyes off of it. I decided then and there I wanted my dick to look like that someday.
Well it took until I was 35 years old to finally get it done. I blame my parents for not being well enough educated to know the benefits of having their male children circumcised.
My mother only went to the 6th grade. My dad had no education at all. He was born in a remote backward village in Mexico that didn't even have a school. My dad's parents both died when he was a small child. He had to start doing manual labour at a young age to support himself. I once heard my mother say since we are not Jewish we don't need to be circumcised. That shows how little she knew about having her sons circumcised. But it wasn't her fault for her lack of education. Her family traveled about because of her dad working in coal mines and also traveling the country harvesting crops. So she stopped going to school after the 6th grade.
I happened to have some money in the bank and I had a medical insurance policy too. I had a week off between jobs, so that was when I had myself circumcised. That was in August of 1978. I have never regretted my decision. It was only about 3 weeks of recovery, but well worth it.
I was put totally under in a hospital. I don't know why it wasn't done as an outpatient as many are done. I checked into the hospital on a Wednesday afternoon. The operation was done Thursday morning, and I was released Friday about noon. I had the whole next week ahead off from work.
Let me know when you have it done. I wish I had known I could have had the scar located higher up on the shaft. That way it looks like it was done since you were born.

That scar line is hard to see. But it looks like an awesome circumcision. I hear if the surgeon uses medical glue it leaves a much less noticeable scar. I think you and your surgeon need to have a discussion so you are both on the same page. Ask him about if he can use glue instead of sutures. I understand it could cost a little more. But ask about it anyway.
Possibly not much help, as I'm in UK, but ... I was also circumcised from choice five years ago, and had the glue to close the wound. It leaves a very fine scar line, almost invisible. Well worth the extra - £50.00 in my case.
If you are already leaving your foreskin retracted your head will be used to being uncovered. It has maybe taken on the pinky colour already? The colour contrast is not something you can do much about: it will depend on your original skin colours, though the inner skin may change after some time. Tanning may help, but be careful not to burn your head!
