hi guys,
a few days ago my doctor felt my heart beats to be a bit artyhmic, actually it is a poker heart, 3 beats and one skip. it didnt happen after that day, i feel it on my wrist but still im going to check. anywho, they are going to put one of those little cardiographs on me for 24 hrs, but i need to shave my chest first.
so, this is me. the question is, do i shave just to under my chest, or all the way down to the pubes (im not removing them) would it look weird if i just shave one half of the body and not the other, because im pretty hairy overall?
and i also have a bit of a belly so i dont think shaving is my friend at all...
what do you think? thx

Take a dispoaable razorblade and let them tell you where they want to attatch the sticky pads then shave a small one inch square. Usually there are only four small patches evenly spaced out that are required. In the UK the nursing staff ways do that for you.
Sure beats shaving it all off and it blends back to normal quicker. Besides they also place some of the sticker pads on your shins so if your hairy there too it seems like excessive to shave your entire body for it

It's a shame to shave such a gorgeous chest, I am envious. But let them do it, the patches are only small, not even the size of a postage stamp.

If it's a 24-hour monitor, it's just two electrodes. (Mine was like an un-grounded Lead II...for the techs among us.) You don't have to put the electrodes in any specific position, so long as the electrical relation ship is correct. So get the advice of a nurse, doctor, or other medical professional...and put the electrodes where there's no hair.

trimming small patches will be much less itching than trimming all, so the less trimming, the less discomfort.
