I'm average height 5'9, and the general opinion of chubby guys is they have small cocks, while I'm not huge I do have a respectable 7.5 x 6.5 inches when hard 5 x 5 when soft.

If you lost weight, you penis would appear to be bigger; perhaps that would be an incentive to do so. I'm 7" but I think it looks bigger because I have no excess fat anywhere.

If you think you're just 'respectable' then maybe you're not measuring right, since the odds of that turning up in even 10% of your partners is extraordinarily low. Many studies didn't turn up a single one that thick, and of those that have it's at best 1 in 400. Those measurements are pretty close to Shane Diesel levels of hugeness.

I once saw a nude guy with an extremely thick flaccid penis. It had to be considerably greater than 6.5 inches thick. It looked quite short, but that may be because it was short only in comparison with the length. I don't know what it would have looked like hard.

I find stereotypically anyone with long appendages (arms, legs, hands, nose) tend to be larger; I think also these long appendages are again more noticeable when you are skinny.

Definitely true - it really is more about the lack of fat around it and the smallness of the rest of the body that makes it look bigger. My dick was the first part of me to really hit the big growth spurt, so for a while I was this 110 lbs 5'6" guy with a 7.5" long thick dick. I even had a little chart back then that I plotted everything on (including my dick) which is a little odd, but I've always been scientific. I'm definitely not fat, but at 6'0" and 170lbs it looks a lot more proportional. I did get pretty fat about 6 years ago (have taken it off and kept it off for years now) and when I was ~200lbs it really looked a lot smaller.

One a side note, I think if you really want to see how many women care little about a guy having a shorter dick (which is 90% of the sphers on this board claiming the opposite), just look at the sheer number of good looking fit women with fat guys. Just sayin'

At 7" x 5.5" when fully hard, my penis is somewhat bigger than average, but the fact that I have no excessive adipose tissue makes it appear bigger than it is.
